Counseling

Many things may bring someone to this page. Maybe you are trying to make sense of the past, or trying to imagine a positive future. Maybe you are overwhelmed with the state of the world, or finding a safe place where you can be your true self. Maybe you have lost someone, feel lost yourself, or you’re facing a difficult change or choice. Regardless of what brings you here, I would be grateful to hear your story.

Counseling Can Help

Counseling can be many things, and it’s a little different for everyone. Often, counseling can simply be a calm space to share your story, explore your feelings, and make meaning of what you are experiencing. You might have decisions to make that you are unsure about, and counseling can help you to determine what makes the most sense for you and your life. You might find yourself needing a space to safely give yourself permission to forge your own path through a difficult and transformative time in life.

I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, experiences, mental health concerns, and life goals. Much of the therapy work I do involves confronting and unravelling harmful messages that people have been handed from a variety of sources in order to help clients uncover their own aims and needs.

You might be processing trauma, managing anxiety and depression, or feeling lost in the changes you are going through. We can explore all of these experiences together to best support your needs.
